As President of Timbalier Resources, Erik leads strategic growth initiatives and provides legal counsel and risk management support to clients. After graduating with a degree in Sports Business from the University of South Carolina in 2004, he began his professional career as a land service professional in the oil and gas industry. Furthering his education, Erik graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in 2009.

From 2010 to 2014, he served in the US Army, handling various legal matters and serving as a prosecutor in federal courts. After his military service, Erik worked for a private insurance defense firm, focusing on environmental, energy, and land use issues. He founded Timbalier Resources in 2015 with an original focus on complex legal and policy matters in coastal Louisiana. Since then, Timbalier has expanded its services to include Land Services, Grant Management, and Technology solutions. In addition to his legal background, Erik has also become proficient in GIS Mapping and Data Management Technologies to optimize project workflows.

Outside of leading Timbalier Resources, Erik enjoys hunting, fishing, boxing, and playing with his two boys.
