Beauregard Parish Waterway Debris Removal Project

Timbalier Resources showcases this project as a prime example of its integrated approach, combining land services, grant management, and advanced technology. In partnership with Rostan Solutions, Timbalier Resources is providing environmental consulting support to secure the necessary state and federal permits for the Parish's waterway debris removal initiative under FEMA's Public Assistance (PA) program.

Given the rigorous data validation requirements of the PA program, Timbalier Resources developed and trained a machine learning model to accurately identify fallen trees within the Parish's waterways. This innovative solution was complemented by the creation of a custom GIS tool that extracts and analyzes pre- and post-storm aerial imagery. The resulting data is then presented in an online mapping interface, enabling seamless access for FEMA review and approval. This integration of cutting-edge technology with traditional land and grant services demonstrates Timbalier Resources' ability to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet complex project requirements.
