City of Savannah BRIC Flood Reduction Project

In collaboration with partner grant firm Rostan Solutions, Timbalier Resources provided critical policy and technical assistance in securing a $42 million flood mitigation grant for the City of Savannah. This significant project includes the widening of Springfield Canal and stormwater drainage improvements for the Carver Village and Cloverdale neighborhoods. By employing a "phased" mitigation approach, Timbalier Resources ensured that the City will receive funding for both engineering and design, as well as construction. With construction beginning in Q1 of 2024, this project marks a crucial step in enhancing flood resilience for Savannah's most vulnerable areas.
